Monkey Backstories
Create a personalized background and lore for your monkeys with the OCM backstory feature! For each monkey that you own, you can customize a unique backstory.

2. Scroll down to your Genesis tokens/monkeys.
3. Select the monkey you would like to add a backstory to.
4. At the bottom of the monkey's Information page, select Edit in the OCM Backstory section.
5. Create a personality for your monkey, and click Save.
Backstories can only be submitted and edited by their OCM owner/holder.
Nov. 2021 - We ran a successfully fun OCM Backstory Event last year.
For OCM fam who submitted backstories during our creative OCM Backstory Event, feel free to copy-and-paste your backstory submissions from our old Wiki at https://wiki.onchainmonkey.com/index.php?title=Gallery_of_Named_Monkeys to the OCM website for your Genesis monkeys.
- 1.To find other monkeys with backstories, navigate to the Genesis Gallery or Karma Gallery page and enable the With Backstory filter under “Monkey Status” in the left search panel:
2. Click on the monkey's image card to view its Information page and backstory.
