The OCM DAO is structured to promote and support projects that will help extend OCM into new spheres of influence and innovation, and push the limits of collective social impact. Through community proposals that align with OCM’s mission and core values of !RISE (Respect, Integrity, Sustainability, Experimentation), the OCM DAO can utilize the community’s influence, talents, and interests on an unprecedented scale.
As a holder, you have the power to help fund and accelerate projects in conjunction with business partners like Hut 8 (NASDAQ: HUT), the largest digital asset miner in North America, who joined the OCM DAO by buying Genesis and Karma tokens, just like any community member. Together, we will create change.

We encourage community members to submit proposals that inspire both positive change, as well as, benefits and increased value for our community. The OCM DAO is giving holders, budding creators, builders, and entrepreneurs the opportunity to secure funding to develop projects/businesses that can make a real impact.
With strong community, valuable benefits, and creativity within the Web3 space, OCM has been a trailblazer since the inception of the Genesis collection. For this reason, we launched the DAO with Season 1 “OCM Branding and Community” and are advancing to Season 2 in Q1 2023 with “Building out the OCM Banana Economy”.
Fun Fact: In OCM DAO's very first season (Aug. to Oct. 2022), OCM was the most active community in terms of voting on the Nouns DAO Prop House platform, averaging 2.7K votes per round and 22 prop submissions per OCM DAO Prop House (PH) Season 1 rounds.

The DAO Watch Discord Role helps OCM-holders stay up-to-date with all OCM DAO news, changes, and developments. Every time a new proposal is submitted for community review or voting, all DAO Watch role members will be notified.

Any holder of an OCM Genesis or OCM Karma asset can vote for proposals. Each Genesis or Karma NFT grants access to a vote in #dao-polling.
